Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has suitable respite workers in place.
Is there anyone you think would be interested in doing respite and interested in learning some of the fundamentals that would make respite successful for both the child and the parent.
I would sure like to see some glimmer of response on this subject with the thought that maybe a few could get together and learn what does and doesn't work.
I/we have been doing respite for our little grandchild, however, we are having to balance respite vs. grandparenting. If there was enough interested people available, you could also "trade" kids to afford a well deserved break for parents and take turns doing this.
Just a few thoughts on the subject here. Interested in your comments.
